BLESSING IN DISGUISE

Chill for a second , it could be a blessing in disguise.                                                                             Felt so many times that you could be soo unlucky? Missing out on a whole lot of things like fun stuffs,achievements, often times you see yourself as better than that other person, that was given that position you have always dreamt about and admired all your life?having a huge question mark in your life asking yourself : " why is life being soo unfair to me"

always failing that maths quiz or test getting your mates laugh at you all the time,always being seen as the second fiddle or even all the way to rock bottom ? Like hell yea that sure sounds very unlucky indeed. But have you ever sat down or paused a while and thought it through for a second , what if I got that dream position and i got fired the next day ? Sometimes it could be God's own way of saving the best for you . IT could be there is something way bigger and better coming your way for every cloud has a silver lining .for everything in life there is a reason. You fail each time you try doesn't mean you should stop trying "Rome wasn't built in a day " as popular as that saying is it sure is very true indeed.Instead of beating yourself up each time why not sit down and go back to your drawing board and restrategize I.e start again

yea,yea no one wants to start from scratch again  .It could be your missing just a little detail something you must have overlooked or felt is less important forgetting that every little detail is important. Feeling too familiar with that street you cross all the time and you say "I can cross it with my eyes closed" you might just get knocked down by a vehicle . sometimes we might still need someone to take us by the hand.

I have worked in that company for 25years ,I deserve that post of a general manager I've earned it  unluckily for you ,you were made to work as maintainance(handyman) . At the end of the day something gets stolen the general manager was either killed or was wrongly accused but someone had to take the fall , now your on your knees saying"Thank God it wasn't me". I bet you don't want that post anymore . lucks do change it's not bright ,or sunny now even roses do have thorns " for patience is a virtue" ....Hold on , IT could be a Blessing in disguise.

LAGOS (CITY OF HUSTLE)

The hustle and bustle on the streets , the fights and noises , verbal exchange of abusive words and curses from that rough touted looking bus conductor one leg of his worn out trousers ,shouting at a well ironed white long sleeve to match with a black straight skinnies worn by a youth with brown envelope in hand agitated and angry Nigerian youth that there is no change at all, after being given a sum of #1,000 naira.            " OSHE Maga Maga Must Pay"echo's of  a Nigerian youth aka " yahoo boy"as he clicks and double clicks on a not soo good but efficient laptop"Bros wetin man go do na after 5years of school no job to show for it all those fees wey boys pay person go come dey pay me 30k their daddy!!! frustrated youth tired of hoping and waiting for white collar jobs that may never come.

or that ever familiar frying sounds of ororo (groundnut oil) in pans as akara ,yam hits pans ,spoons going round and round so vigorously as our poor widowed mothers make efforts to see her 4 children through school.

as our fathers , and young men turn to baba ijebu and Bet9ja players under the hot scorching sun trying their lucks day in day out " omo bet9ja must favour me today"

BE TRUE TO YOURSELF

Learn to be true to yourself, to love yourself ,appreciate yourself more and say beautiful things to yourself standing in front of that mirror . you can say words like : "I am beautiful, I am perfect, I am the light of the world , hmmm Donald you are unique ,you are special , things are working out for my good , things are falling in pleasant places for me, God is taking me somewhere and I will get there. Who cares if they don't celebrate you dear ,celebrate yourself lift your head high and look up to the hills from whence cometh your help . whatever you speak to your life whether good or bad shapens you .Its no wonder the tongue is the most powerful tool .Many at times when we are faced with challenges, we tend to let what people say get to us we even tend to agree to some of those " Nonsense" they spit out of their lying tongues soon we start believing and seeing failures even without lifting a hand to try it .learning and cultivating habits of speaking good and positive things to our lives not only helps our self confidence but also helps boost our self esteem therefore knowing who we are in Christ . Remember you are beautiful ....you are perfect just the way you are and if they can't see it then let them go.
